My friend, you are in for one heck of a guitar!!! Ever since the first tone passed through my ear canal, I knew the Trey guitar was THE guitar. As you stated, Paul won't replicate Trey's guitar exactly (he even used hand made tools to make the thing) he does indeed sell very close replicas. Last time I checked he was asking 10,000$ but he does throw in a case lol.

I'm going to follow this blog now as i can't wait to see the finished product, hope you throw a video or two of it in action up eventually. I'm heading over to AO guitars right now, I doubt I can afford this custom currently, but it can't hurt to check it out.

Patrick, how much did this cost you? a hefty sum i assume?

i cannot begin to describe what funk destruction i would be laying down if i had this axe. my buddy has a modulus bass, we would sound close to the real thing!

Hey Gene, Sorry, I got absolutely no notification of your post. Um, it wasn't cheap, haha. If you're interested in getting one you should talk to the man himself, Andrew over at AO!

But yeah, funk will be destructed, no doubt about it.

Fabulous design. I can see your passion in designing and in guitars too.
